Thanks for your review on Pok Pok. I've gone to Pok Pok twice: The first time when it was only an outdoor take-out venue. The second time when the WSL opened. I really liked it as a take-out establishment. The quantity and quality of the dishes seemed fair for the pricing. But the second time we went, I was extremely underwhelmed at the portions and selection. Unfortunately, my experience was tainted by the fact that I (and my husband, who also dined there) became violently ill within an hour of eating there and were sick for another 12 hour or so. Every time I drive by there, I can't help to think of the place as "Puke Puke".

Sorry to give such a sour review, but despite getting ill, in general I was underwhelmed by what this restaurant had to offer. I do really like the ambiance of the place, though very small...I don't think they have any excuse for jacking up their prices so much, considering the kind of business the restaurant pulls in. Unfortunately, just like Savoy the year before, I think Pok Pok is also overrated.
